There’s a piece that looks like a “V” that attaches to the back of the stands pole. There are two small grooves on each side of the end of the “V” piece and on the pole itself to attach. Once you do it’ll help level off the monitor stand because it’ll lock the inner brackets. Hope that helps.
Don’t confuse HDR with Bit depth. Standard 4K video has a 10-bit pixel bit depth and will be able to display 1 billion colors, whereas standard Blu-Ray has an 8-bit pixel depth and will be able to display 16 million colors. And none of that has anything to do with HDR. HDR refers to the range between light and dark
